Our Dad was dearly loved by his family and friends. His kindness, love, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We are grateful for the many wonderful memories and for the lasting impact he had on so many lives.

Our family is fulfilling his final wish to donate his body to science. Knowing that he chose this path brings us comfort, as it reflects his generous spirit and his desire to help others even after his passing. Because we are honoring his wishes, his body will be donated to the UAB Medical center and there will be no funeral service.

We know that everyone grieves in their own way, and we hope those who knew and loved him will take time to remember him in whatever manner feels most meaningful to them—whether through a quiet moment of reflection, sharing a memory, or simply holding him in their thoughts.

While our hearts are saddened by his loss, we find comfort in the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the memories that will remain with us always.

The immediate family will be holding a small memorial service in his honor and we thank you for keeping them in your thoughts during this difficult time.
