Kumbharia Samaj of USA recently held their Convention at Ramada Plaza Hotel in Orlando Florida on Aug 01 to 4th . This was the first convention in some time, so villagers were excited and happy to meet fellow villagers after a long time. The first night was a get together where family introductions were made. The second day a picnic was held, and everyone enjoyed Jabun, Guava, Sweet Mango, Star Fruit, Fresh Peanuts, Sitafal, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Snow Cones ,and Masala khichidy with tasty butter milk. The third night featured the Gala night, where everyone dressed up, and enjoyed the evening with great food and a great music group. Traditional Khumbaria Dinner (Maharaj Rasoi) for the Gala Night was provided by Sudhaben (Florida), and was very tasty. Everyone left on August 4th, looking forward to the next convention.
